Overall, I am happy with this product. The plug in area was a little different than the original Bosch timer, however, it worked just fine. I would suggest that you look closely at the old timer you are removing and the configuration of wires before pulling them out. Taking a quick picture might be helpful too. I wasn't sure if this was the problem and was hesitant about buying an electrical part that I most likely wouldn't be able to return but after talking to a friend of mine who knows an appliance repair man he said that the timers go out all of the time. I was happy that I took the chance to buy this and fix it myself. I probably would have paid double to have someone come to my home and diagnose the problem and order the part for me. Glad I did this.I did try calling Bosch to get some advice but they don't have a trouble shooting department and were basically unhelpful.It has been over a year since I bought this item and installed. It works and no problem so far. The install is a little bit tricky. You have to be careful in taking the old one out and don't break anything.Update: The unit failed yeasterday, March 10, 2013. It stopped in the middle of washing. The panel is not functional. Only some circle is not working. I believe the Bosch 676960 CONTROL UNIT is not built to an expected standard.This unit fixed the non drying issue in our bosch dishwasher. It was straight forward on the install. Much cheaper than having someone come out to fix it.This product only worked for one week. I had to throw away the dishwasher and buy a new one. The quality was just not there.It was delivered promptly and it works.Thanks
