I love the amount of light this headlamp provides when needed. The only downside is it has a lot of options and can take some time to figure out. I didn't find the directions user friendly.I have owned +\- 10 of these headlamps over the years.. They have always been durable and reliable. For the price point, they have always been the obvious choice. I work in maintenance on boats, so I use a headlamp almost every day of the week. I typically go through one or two of these a year before one of the components fails. For the wear and tear I put them through, that’s to be expected.The clasp on this one broke the very first time I put batteries in it.. I now have to close the battery compartment using a zip tie. Otherwise the headlamp would be useless. I was working out of the country when my old one broke. I ordered this one while I was away so that it would be there when I got home. Now that I’m back, the return window is closed.. BUMMERI only had it for 10 minutes. I opened it up. Placed the batteries in. Tried closing it. Then it broke. Didn't even turn on the flashlight. These products should all just be recalled and removed from the stock.The light bulb is great, but the clamp is super low quality. As soon as you put in the batteries, carefully close it and close the clamp, it will break apart. I got 2 of these and both broke the clamp as soon as i put in the batteryThe battery cover clip was broken in the packaging. I cannot imagine that this would hold up to use if it was broken on arrival. I put in batteries and liked the lamp features, but cannot justify a repurchase with this fundamental design defect.The tab that holds the half’s together broke after the first use. The light itself is phenomenal but what good is a head light that doesn’t stay together?‍♂️☹️まず先に言いたいのは、明るさ、使い勝手、着け心地、重量なんの文句もありません。たった1つ「こりゃダメだ」と思ったのは、ロック機構。樹脂パーツの華奢なツメ1つで完全防水のパッキンの反発力を受けている点。最初の電池交換で、あっけなく折れました。タチの悪いのは、本体と裏ぶたを閉じるためのロック機構が他にないため、華奢なツメが折れると、本体と裏ぶたがパカパカ開いてしまいヘッドライトとして使用不能&防塵防水能力を失なうこと。もし山のシビアな状況の中で起こっていたらと思うと、冷や汗が出ました。こんな力がかかるパーツに、しかも、たった1つの固定パーツが、華奢な樹脂使用とはリコールものの設計ミスだと思います。私には、疲労して少し集中力を欠いた状態や、かじかんだ手先で、この繊細なロックをミスなく操作する自信がありません。ロックのツメの先端を正確に小さな穴に、完全に奥まで押し込んで、ロックレバーを倒さないと、いとも簡単にツメが根元からポッキリ折れます。その穴に雪でも噛んで固まったら、一発でアウトです。今までメインライトはBDばかり使ってきましたが、信頼を失なうに十分な出来事でした。皆さん、シビアな山で使うのは止めた方がいいです、絶対！【追記】現在、アルミの角材から折れた部品に相当するパーツを削り出し、ピンを抜いて交換しました。強度、耐久性、操作性においてオリジナルより優れていると思います。自作部品交換により、サイドのタップスイッチの誤作動防止になるオマケもつきました。既にレビューされているとおり、電池蓋を固定するパーツが脆弱で、普通に開け閉めしているだけで折れました。販売店に相談したところ「破損が多発し、メーカーから回収指示が出ている」と伝えられ、返品、返金処理となりました。使い続けている方は、破損に備えて予備を持つ、と言った対応が必要かと思います。（なお、レビュー時点ではメーカー、代理店共にリコール情報を公表していません）富士山登山に使う目的で別売りのバッテリーも購入し、それをセットして裏蓋を閉めてロックした瞬間にツメの根元が折れた。まだ１回も使ってないのにショック。現在は販売中止の店舗がほとんどだが、この商品の問題が原因なのか。そうであればリコ―ルして回収、返金してもらいたい。他の方のレビューを見て、いやいや扱いが強引だったんだろ。と、思っていました。フタ開けました。電池を入れました。閉めま…ポキッ………。ホントでした。コレは申し訳ないですが買わない方がいいと自信を持って言えます。
